Perfect for young families & new kayakers
From June to September, the Gozo Coastal Explore is perfect for complete beginners, kids, and for those who want to get a taste of adventure in our very stable sit-on-top kayaks. If you prefer to stay close to shore, want to keep it chill, or only have limited time to spend exploring the beauty of Gozo's hidden corners, then this is the tour for you.

Relaxed tour along the Gozo coastline
After a short safety briefing, we’ll depart from cosy Hondoq Bay in Gozo and coast down the shore towards Qala’s Ħalfa Rock. We’ll see several highlights like the stunning salt pans dating back to Roman times and check out cool sites like the bat cave! We’ll also stop for a break at one or two of our favourite spots, where you are free to swim, explore or just relax. We provide goggles so you can also take a plunge into the underwater world!
*Swimming is an optional unguided activity during the breaks.

​Will I see the Blue Lagoon & Comino?
To see the Blue Lagoon, you have to cross the channel to Comino Island, which we will not do on this tour. We kayak to Comino on most of our half day and full day tours, but on the Gozo Coastal Explore, we stay along the Gozo shoreline. If you want to do this kayak tour and see the Blue Lagoon and Comino, you can easily catch a shuttle boat there from Hondoq Bay after your kayak tour – a perfect combination!
